Chapter 120: Shana’s Hatred
Before she could scream, the surgical nurse beside me stuffed a large ball of biting cotton into her mouth. Shana immediately whimpered and couldn’t speak.
“Since you don’t want to die, I’ll treat you properly.” I lowered my head and picked up the tweezers in my hand to clean the gauze.
After a while, Shana stopped whining and just continued to glare at me, panting.
Seeing that she had quieted down, I removed the gauze from her mouth and continued to ask, “Do you think Vela will be sad to lose you?”
Such a calm and casual sentence sounded like the monologue before death reaped to Shana. At this moment, she couldn’t move her hands or feet, and Luna seemed to have control over her life and death. She panicked completely and said in a trembling voice, “You can’t kill me. Mommy only has one daughter, and Daddy won’t let you off…”
After cleaning the gauze, I set to work cleaning the pus from her face. I’d just poured the saline solution on her when Shana cried out in pain, so I stopped what I was doing for the moment.
“Since you know your parents will be sad to lose you, did you know how much pain I was in when you and your mother stole my son?” I looked at her and growled.
I had been kind to others since I was young, and I had always looked at this world with a grateful and devout heart. However, the various methods of Vela and her daughter allowed me to see what pure evil was.
‘You bitch, that kind of bastard who was born with some unknown man. You want to…” Shana gasped in pain as she insulted me.
I shook my head, dismissing her words. ‘My babies are excellent. If they have a father, they must be excellent people too. I’ll find a father for them, you don’t have to worry about that.”
“Now, your face and life are in my hands. Do you still want to talk like this?” I said as I slowly cut open the rotten flesh for her with the scalpel.
I’ll never lower my head to a bitch like you…” Shana’s expression was fierce. Right now, in my eyes, the exposed muscles of her face were bunched up. It was hard to imagine how much she hated me.
“I don’t think 1 did anything to you from the beginning to the end. I just rejected some unreasonable conditions from you and your mother,” I said helplessly. Seeing that Shanas wound was starting to bleed again, I gently wiped it with a gauze.
No matter how much I detested Shana, I would never mistreat her as a doctor.
Shana’s eyes moved to the mirror in front of her. After seeing her fleshless face, she seemed to have become even more paranoid and crazy. She said hatefully, “You caused me to be disfigured, took away the manor and property that should have belonged to us, and even deceived Peter’s heart! Don’t you dare to say that you don’t owe us anything, you bitch!”
But the bottle that contained a strong, corrosive potion, hadn’t Shana taken it out to throw it at me? And hadn’t the property and the manor been an inheritance from my mother’s family, left specifically for me to inherit? And hadn’t Peter come up to me because he coveted my looks?
I sighed slightly, knowing that no matter what I said, Shana wouldn’t reflect or wake up. She would only blame me for not letting her have her way and would feel that I forever owed her.
So I didn’t argue with her anymore. Instead, I waved at the surgical nurse beside me and said, “Put anesthesia on her..”
