“Okay, slow down. Don’t fall anymore. Miss Fang is quite strong to be able to help him back.”
Hearing Uncle Tong’s words, Fang Tang thought that it was fortunate that Qin Qiao was not as heavy as her.
Otherwise, even if Fang Tang put Qin Qiao on the ground, she would not be able to drag a drunk Qin Qiao.
Who knew that when they walked into the living room, she would see Zhan Qing sitting there with a gloomy and solemn expression?
Fang Tang supported Qin Qiao with one arm around her waist. She quickly bowed and nodded. “Hello, Ninth Master!”
The Fang family could not afford to offend the Zhan family.
Fang Tang always wore revealing clothes, she’s either exposing a part of her skin here and there.
Especially at the moment, where Qin Qiao was leaning against Fang Tang and was almost hanging onto her.
Her clothes straps were about to be pulled off…
“It was Young Master Qin’s friend’s birthday party and he drank too much that Miss Fang took him back, Ninth Master.”
Uncle Tong saw that Zhan Qing’s expression was unhappy and so he quickly explained.
“You’re his girlfriend?” Zhan Qing was asking Fang Tang, but his eyes were on the drunk Qin Qiao who had her head down.
“No, no, no. I’m his good friend. Ninth Master, I’m Fang Tang, Qin Qiao’s best friend!”
Fang Tang quickly explained in a breathless voice.
Qin Qiao was getting engaged to Qi Meiwei, so Zhan Qing should not have some misunderstanding that Qin Qiao had messy relationships outside.
With Qin Qiao pressed against her like that, Fang Tang could not support Qin Qiao even if she was lighter than her.
She thought, ‘Qiaoqiao, wake up quickly. Your Ninth Uncle’s gaze is so scary and I can’t handle it.’
Just when Fang Tang was wailing in her heart, Zhan Qing had already stood up and walked towards them.
Fang Tang swallowed nervously. What did he want?
“Give him to me. Uncle Tong, send her out.”
Zhan Qing stretched his hand over to grab Qin Qiao’s arm. With one swift motion, he pulled her into his arms.
Then, before Fang Tang could react, he had already picked Qin Qiao up.
Fang Tang covered her mouth to not let herself exclaim. What was the situation? Lifting her up in his arms…
But she could only shout in her heart, ‘Qin Qiao, you better wake up. Don’t let your Ninth Uncle find out that you’re dressing up as a man.’
‘I’m really helpless now and I don’t have the courage to snatch you back from your Ninth Uncle.’
“Miss Fang, please!” Uncle Tong gestured with his hand.
He could not figure out whether Ninth Master was unhappy or not.
Fang Tang could only come along with Uncle Tong and prayed in her heart. “Qin Qiao, please don’t talk nonsense.”
Zhan Qing’s expression was dark as he carried Qin Qiao upstairs.
What did this child eat when growing up? Why was he so light?
Qin Qiao was in a daze and while she struggled in Zhan Qing’s arms, she sniffed as she cried.
“Uncomfortable…” Qin Qiao mumbled and rubbed against Zhan Qing’s chest.
Zhan Qing felt that his shirt was wet and it was followed by Qin Qiao’s cry. “Happy birthday…”
Zhan Qing did not hear what Qin Qiao had said. Did he drink too much? Or was he feeling sad?
How could a boy be such a good-for-nothing? And was even crying.
Zhan Qing kicked Qin Qiao’s room door open and walked to the bed in a few steps. He then threw her straight on the bed.
Qin Qiao instinctively hugged the pillow, adopting that uncomfortable sleeping posture again and she looked like a koala lying there.
It was the second time Zhan Qing had seen Qin Qiao sleeping like that and it made him want to kick her every time.
Qin Qiao held the pillow and sobbed, and soon, her tears stained the pillow.
