748 The Temptation of a Large Mineral Deposit (1)
The moment Xu Jingming sensed the potent Primordial Gold aura, his three exploration clones employed Heart Realm teleportation, instantly warping to different locations where the aura emanated.
The Primordial Gold Mountains’ environment was uniquely challenging, with spacetime in the area being chaotic and unstable. It was impossible to peer into the mountains, let alone locate the mineral deposits, either through the Mother Stream or the Heart Realm. Thus, he had no choice but to repeatedly teleport within the Heart Realm to pinpoint the colossal mineral deposit’s exact location.
“Found it.” Xu Jingming’s face lit up with delight.
The dean, Tower Master, and Island Lord exchanged eager glances, and the dean urged, “Let’s hurry over.”
“Let’s go!”
In a flash, Xu Jingming, the dean, and the others vanished.
…
When they reappeared, they were already standing beside one of the exploration clones.
Xu Jingming surveyed the tumultuous and quivering spacetime before him, and the powerful Primordial Gold aura erupting from it. “The mineral deposit spans a vast area. If I venture any closer, I’ll succumb to Spacetime Disorientation.”
One of his Heart Realm clones had already been lost to Spacetime Disorientation.
“What a massive deposit.”
The dean, Tower Master, Island Lord, and the others gaped in awe. Up close, they could grasp the staggering scale of the deposit.
Compared to the small deposit they had discovered earlier, one could deduce the approximate reserves of this deposit—it was a terrifying amount.
“Must be at least 100 drops of Abyssal Mother Blood,” Xu Jingming estimated, secretly astonished. “This quantity would tempt even half-step third-realm powerhouses.”
Spacetime Island Lord carefully sensed the quivering spacetime and declared, “The spacetime chaos here isn’t too severe. With our forbidden weapons, we can suppress spacetime and stabilize it.”
This chaos was triggered by the eruption of the Primordial Gold’s aura.
A little guidance and organization would stabilize spacetime.
Whoosh.
Nearby, three figures materialized—it was Moyu, Oroco, and Feixing’s team.
“What a massive deposit. We can’t monopolize it.” Moyu, Oroco, and Feixing were taken aback by the deposit’s size. They knew they couldn’t mine it in peace.
Even without high-dimensional lifeforms interfering and allowing them to mine, such immense wealth would draw countless powerhouses to pursue them.
“The four Island Lords of Myriad Star Island.” Moyu and the others spotted Xu Jingming and his group.
Their gazes met, and they dismissed each other.
Neither team had the power to seize the entire deposit for themselves.
“This deposit is immense, and the wealth it holds is beyond imagination,” the dean said through a voice transmission. “Many teams exploring the Primordial Gold Mountains will flock here, and numerous powerhouses will come from across the dominion. We mustn’t be too greedy!”
“Greed will only invite trouble,” Tower Master agreed, clear-headed.
“Jingming, are you certain you killed Natuo in one strike?” the dean inquired once more through a voice transmission.
“Yes,” Xu Jingming confirmed via voice transmission. “And it was just an ordinary move.”
He had devised a total of two moves for the Golden Halberd, and dealing with Natuo required only the first move!
The dean glanced at Xu Jingming and sent another voice transmission. “Alright, we’ll claim 30% of the deposit. With our forbidden domain and Jingming’s spearmanship, we should be able to secure 30% of the resources.”
Without Xu Jingming, the dean and the others wouldn’t have dared to stake such a claim.
“Alright, 30%.” Tower Master’s eyes narrowed, determined. If he wasn’t going to risk everything now, when would he?
“Let’s begin immediately,” Spacetime Island Lord urged.
Without hesitation, the dean and the others unleashed their forbidden weapons—the black flame sphere, the golden mountain, and the semicircle halo. The three weapons released their power simultaneously, merging to form a forbidden domain.
The forbidden domain repressed spacetime and claimed 30% of the entire mineral deposit.
“They actually dare to take 30% of the area?” Moyu, Oroco, and Feixing were taken aback.
“Let’s claim 20%.” Moyu decided on the spot. Despite his envy, he believed that seizing 20% of the mineral resources was already significant. If he tried for more, his greed might very well be his downfall.
Light emanated from Moyu’s entire body.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The waters of the Mother Stream cascaded down, creating a vast, ethereal lake that seamlessly surged into the mountain rocks and enveloped 20% of the mineral deposit. Moyu and his companions concealed themselves within the lake and commenced their excavation of the Primordial Gold.
Whoosh.
Whoosh.
Whoosh.
Within a minute, seven additional teams arrived, all astonished at the sight of the immense mineral deposit.
“Let’s claim 10%. We’ll be content with 10%.”
“5%.”
“10%.”
The last few teams were far weaker than Myriad Star Island and Moyu’s team. They felt that 10% of the mineral resources were sufficient, but they didn’t confront each other. They staked their claims, between 5–10%, and made the most of their time to dig!
Only what they successfully excavated would be considered their own.
Boom! Boom!
On Myriad Star Island’s side, the dean, Tower Master, and Island Lord collaborated with their forbidden weapons, furiously demolishing the mineral deposit.
Massive chunks of rock shattered, and Primordial Gold Beads cascaded down. Occasionally, there were even palm-sized pieces of Primordial Gold!
There’s so much. Xu Jingming was both excited and envious.
This piece of Primordial Gold is equivalent to 1,000 Primordial Gold Beads. Eternal Tower Master eagerly reached out and seized a piece of Primordial Gold.
In under a minute, Xu Jingming and the others had unearthed around 10,000 Primordial Gold Beads! This rate was far faster than mining smaller deposits. The sheer size of the deposit made it easy pickings.
