Chapter 162: A Rank Dangerous Entity (9)
“Wh-what?”
It was an arrogant answer. Jegal Bohyun never imagined that he would receive such a disrespectful answer as he was an executive of the Yulin Organization branch leading Jenam City and a member of the Four Stars of Jenam. Jegal Bohyun said in a rather angry voice, “Your ignorance is admissible, but it’s too much.”
The heads of each faction nodded their heads to see if they sympathized with him. Jegal Bohyun deserved to be fully respected as a descendant of Jegal Family, one of the five great powers from the prestigious of Forces of Justice in Yulin. A middle-aged man behind Jegal Bohyun came forward and saluted, “I am Jegal Banghyun.”
It was Jegal Banghyun who held the position of director of the Jegal Cultural Foundation. He stepped out because he believed the leader of the family and chairman of the board, Jegal Bohyun was insulted.
“This is the chairman from the Jegal Cultural Foundation. If you are a Yulinian, you need to show your respect like true Yulinian!”
Chun Yeowun’s eyes narrowed like a sharp sword. Not only the Great Demonic Cult, but the entire Yulin was a world of strong self-reliance. Despite their overwhelming ignorance, however, their reaction was more like a social position and identity.
‘Is this the level of the current Yulin?’
This was what the modern Yulin had become under the umbrella of government. Or maybe it was a change in the course of the times. But Chun Yeowun believed this deviated a long way from the essence of the Yulin.
‘Hmm. The atmosphere is just right.’
Baik Yeh thought as he watched how it was going. He was worried that Chun Yeowun, an unidentified powerful man, after defeating the Alpha Shivara, would be held up as a hero. However, thanks to Chun Yeowun’s arrogant response, the Yulinians became rather wary.
‘If we drive public opinion properly, we can stop such a monster from working in Jenam City.’
To use this opportunity, Baik Yeh stepped in.
“Excuse me. My name is Baik Yeh, District Leader of the Jenam City Yulin Organization here. Speaking of which, I’d like to ask you a question. If you were such a powerful warrior, you could have taken the lead and solved it before the Yulin people took any damage.”
The Yulinians reacted to what District Leader Baik Yeh said. Attention was only given to Chun Yeowun and the A-rated Core, so they had not realized this. If Chun Yeowun had taken his hand a little faster, as Baik Yeh said, the casualties might not have happened…
“Baek Yeh is right.”
“Nobody else would have died if he fought earlier.”
“How come he attacked so late?”
Negative public opinion against Chun Yeowun began to form. Rather than thinking that his intervention reduced the lives of citizens and their damage, it turned into an atmosphere of blaming him. Baik Yeh was inwardly pleased with the progress of his plan and tried to push the wedge further.
“And…”
Then Hwangbo Yun stepped in.
“Wait a minute. Back Yeh. We still have to thank him for his help that we were able to avoid a lot of casualties. Aren’t you pushing it too negatively?”
Not everyone uniformly had the same mind. Hwangbo Yun was a man known to be clear-minded, and spoke out as he felt indebted to Chun Yeowun in this crisis.
‘Hwangbo Yun… you fool. You don’t even think about how stupid we would look if we glorify unregistered Yulinians,’ Baik Yeh thought as he stared at Hwangbo Yun with a pathetic look.
“Of course I believe this warrior deserves some recognition. But those who have power are responsible for it. If he had taken over Alpha Shivara from the start with us, we could have taken much less damage. He just waited at watched while starting with you, and Jegal got injured.”
“What are you trying to say?”
Baik Yeh then pointed to the core held in Chun Yeowun’s hand.
“Didn’t you use our Jenam City Yulin Organization and Gatekeeper to get the Core?”
Discontent rose with the glances of the Yulinians and even the Gatekeepers around him when he said the right clashing.
‘Good.’
Baik Yeh’s showed that he was triumphant. He looked at Chun Yeowun. With this push, he was sure that Chun Yeowun would become vilified, let alone become hero. Then Chun Yeowun opened his mouth.
“You seem to misunderstand.”
‘Hah. It’s too late to explain.’
Baik Yeh, who thought Chun Yeowun was trying to explain, pushed him even harder.
“If you don’t give us a clear explanation, we can’t believe what you’re saying…”
“Enough with your gibberish.”
“What- Ugh!”
At that moment, his tongue was forced out of his mouth. Chun Yeowun raised his fingers and waved.
“N-no!”
The protruding Baik Yeh’s tongue was cut off by sharp energy. Baik Yeh, whose tongue was cut off, shrieked with such pain, blocking his bleeding mouth.
“B-Baik Yeh!!”
“What the hell is going on!”
Surprised by Chun Yeowun’s sudden action, the Yulinians hurriedly pulled out their weapons. Looking at them like that, Chun Yeowun said, “Do you think I came here to save you?”
“What does that mean?” asked Jegal Bohyun with a tense look. Chun Yeowun answered with in a meaningful voice.
“I’m also here to get rid of all of you.”
