“Yes!” Gu Qingxin immediately responded.

“Are you two okay? Is there anything wrong?” Xiao Zirui asked worriedly.

“We’re fine!” Ming Shang responded indifferently.

Gu Qingxin looked at him, and Ming Shang, with his hand pushing against the floor getting up, walked over to give her a warning, “Don’t go leaking today’s incident!”

“Did you hear me?”

“I got it! Stop pestering!” Gu Qingxin replied impatiently.

Gu Qingxin stuck her tongue out at him!

Ming Shang was so frustrated that he felt chest pain.

The elevator door hadn’t been open yet, when it suddenly jolted. Gu Qingxin, startled by the sudden movement, screamed. Ming Shang quickly grabbed her just as they both collided against the wall of the elevator.

“It’s fine, don’t be scared. The elevator has already stopped, it won’t fall anymore.” Xiao Zirui’s voice rang out.

Ming Shang glanced at the girl next to him, who had tightly shut her eyes and covered her ears, and said in a displeased tone, “You better hurry up.”

After a couple of minutes, the elevator door was forced open, but the elevator was stuck between two floors.

“We’ll pull you up!” Xiao Zirui and a worker extended their hands.

“You go first.” Ming Shang bent down and picked up Gu Qingxin. With two people pulling her up from above and Ming Shang lifting her from below, Gu Qingxin was rescued.

Ming Shang didn’t need any assistance and jumped out seamlessly.

Xiao Zirui kept apologizing to them, while Ming Shang didn’t utter a single word. He simply turned around and briskly left the premises.
