Chapter 531: Chapter 534: Revoking Divorce

The next day, Lily Gray received a call from Blake Graham.

On the other end of the line, Blake’s voice was cold and unsettling.

“Miss Gray, I’m asking you again. Are you really sure you want to withdraw your case?”

Upon hearing Blake’s voice, Lily couldn’t help but feel tense.

She silently took a deep breath, not knowing what she was afraid of, and whispered, “I’m sorry, Mr. Graham. I know I’ve wasted your time, but…”

“Miss Gray—” Lily could almost hear Blake grinding his teeth as he said it, “Since this is your decision, I have no right to interfere. However, please remember your decision today, and I hope you won’t regret it in the future.”

Before Lily had a chance to say anything else, the phone line went dead.

He hung up…

Just like that.

It seemed Blake was genuinely angry.

Lily felt a bit guilty towards Blake. For this case, she knew he had spent a lot of time and effort preparing.

The opposing lawyer was Joshua Fenton, and behind Joshua was the powerful Lucas family, so Blake took her divorce case very seriously.

Lily sighed softly, “Of course I mind, and honestly, I feel jealous… But Diana, she saved my husband’s life. Without her, my husband wouldn’t be here…”

Lily briefly told Diana about how Hannah had saved Ethan Wilson’s life.

“So there was such a dramatic experience… no wonder your husband wants to help her with her treatment.”

“Yeah, but if Ethan had ignored her, I would probably be even more worried. On the bright side, this proves that Ethan is a responsible and dependable man, right? Besides… you can genuinely feel the truth in someone’s intentions when they truly care about you.”

She had simply calmed down and carefully recalled their past experiences.

Ethan’s indulgence of her, his possessiveness and even the wild jealousy he displayed.

Those past experiences were all so real.

Such emotions cannot be faked.

“Alright, since this is your choice, I respect it.” Compared to Blake, Diana’s attitude was much more relaxed.

“But Lily, even if your husband doesn’t have any feelings for Hannah, she’s clearly no saint. Just from the way she looked at your husband last time at the medical center, it showed her ambition. She’s back in A City now; aren’t you afraid something might happen between her and your husband?”

Lily laughed at that, “She met Ethan before I did. If something were to happen, it would probably have happened a long time ago. More importantly, Ethan is away on a trip overseas for a while now. Hannah’s return turned out to be really unlucky, as she’s come back to nothing.”
