Chapter 205: Chapter 64. The Royal Observatory of Greenwich (4)
Kim Yongwoo kept on frowning.
The man believed that Randalf Bruciel was his master, hero, and even the savior. He simply believed that Randalf had been covering his face because he had his reasons. Furthermore, what he had done had nothing to do with the concealment of his face.
Kim Yongwoo was irritated when someone tried to bash Randalf’s great achievements. They were looking for a scapegoat. The man could not let them be.
“Even if…”
Even if Randalf turned out to be a demon, it did not matter to Kim Yongwoo. Had it not been for him, Korea would have already been completely destroyed. The Guild of Heaven’s Will would have been demolished, and he himself could have been dead already.
Although Kim Yongwoo was the leader of the guild, he was too weak to be one. Many had challenged him and his position.
The Guild of Heaven’s Will was everything to Kim Yongwoo. Becoming an awakened hero and founding the guild changed his life. Before that, he was just an average Joe. Neither was he smart nor did he have any outstanding abilities. However, through this guild, the man transformed into one of the most influential people in Korea, and such a change was indeed dramatic.
Randalf played a significant role in his life, and Kim Yongwoo could not let the others degrade his benefactor like that.
Kim Yongwoo knew what trust and belief were. Only those who had both could survive in these crazy times.
“Even if it were really Randalf, he came to warn mankind, not to threaten us.”
“Are you admitting that Randalf is a demon?”
The leader of the Knights Templar looked coldly at Kim Yongwoo. His eyes gave him the chills, but Kim Yongwoo believed that the knight could not frighten him.
“Think logically! Why would a demon try to help humans? Randalf is a hero in Korea. He must have introduced himself as an archduke because he wanted to warn us. It is hard to understand him from time to time, but he has his reasons, and everything works out in the end. Don’t judge him like that!”
“A simple man cannot dodge my skill. And you… I cannot see some parts of your past.”
Kim Yongwoo scoffed at the leader of the Knights Templar, who told him that he was reading his past.
“He was born as complete. It seems like he was sent from above to solve the problems of mankind. Randalf was the strongest of all, but he did not boast in front of others. He always gave us the feeling that he could read the future and was preparing for it. And he was correct. Things started to happen just like how he predicted and prepared for.”
“Are you saying that he can predict the future?”
“You are correct. Randalf could see the future. Did you say you cannot read Randalf’s past? Well, no wonder why! He is an unprecedented figure, because he was sent from above as a messenger of the gods!”
Kim Yongwoo was spitting nonsense, but his words reflected how he had thought of Randalf. Randalf had never been wrong. Although he had disappeared quite frequently, but he always returned to help when Kim Yongwoo was in need of it. That was the reason that Kim Yongwoo started to believe in and follow Randalf in such a zealous fashion.
In fact, Kim Yongwoo tried to do some background search on Randalf. However, he could not find anything. The man had spent a tremendous amount of money for the search, and he believed in its accuracy. When nothing came out from the search, Kim Yongwoo started to doubt Randalf and thought about the possibility of him being a demon. Everyone had history, and the search would be able to find it. However, that doubt was long gone. Kim Yongwoo did not think about it at all now.
“If he’s not a human, then he is likely to be a demon.”
When the leader of the Knights Templar made the conclusion, Kim Yongwoo clicked his tongue.
“Have you seen any demon helping humans? In fact, what do you know about demons? Demons have crushed Korea. They showed up one day and destroyed everything. They even caged us and treated us like animals. Sometimes they played with our bodies or even conducted experiments. We were helpless against them. I am sure that warriors from Korea know much more about demons than anyone in this room. And we know that no demon will befriend humans. To them, we are merely toys.”
Kim Yongwoo, as the leader of a world class guild, had had the chance to watch demons very closely.
After witnessing their cruelty, Kim Yongwoo was convinced that Randalf Bruciel, who had been generous to humans, was not a demon.
There was no way that Randalf was a demon. Otherwise, he would not have helped humans.
Kim Yongwoo’s confident voice convinced the rest to a certain extent.
The leader of the Knights Templar could not refute Kim Yongwoo. Queen Mary also found Kim Yongwoo’s experience interesting. Kim Yongwoo did not stop there and put the seal on it.
“If Randalf had warned us about the gathering, we must take action. The Guild of Heaven’s Will will actively participate in this operation.”
The leaders of the world sent their best awakened heroes to the United Kingdom. The heroes then established a special force unit.
In addition to the awakened heroes, the United States decided to employ the cobalt bomb in this mission, which they had been developing in secret. It was a nuclear bomb, coated with cobalt. The cobalt dramatically enhanced the effects of radiation. Due to the devastating damage, such a weapon was forbidden to be developed or used.
Of course, the cobalt bomb would be used as a last resort. The fate of mankind would be determined by the outcome of this mission. As a result, a tremendous number of awakened heroes would participate in this mission, and the most cutting-edge technologies would be used to carry out this operation.
“I don’t know if we are going to all die together.”
Kim Yongwoo, who knew parts of the operation, sighed.
The leader had decided to send twenty members of his guild for this mission, but now he started to regret it.
“Guild master, you’re not scared, are you?”
Yoo Eunhye talked to him in a playful tone.
“I’m not scared, of course.”
“All of the awakened heroes here, they are quite good.”
Kim Yongwoo shrugged his shoulder.
“Well, I don’t think any of them are stronger than you are. If I get into trouble, Edward and you are going to save me. There is no reason to get scared.”
Yoo Eunhye snickered.
After all, Kim Yongwoo wasn’t exaggerating, and he was correct. There were more than a thousand awakened heroes in the basement, and all of them were the most powerful awakened heroes in their respective countries.
However, Yoo Eunhye and Edward were in a different league. In fact, all of the awakened heroes from Korea had very high levels. There was no reason that Kim Yongwoo would get scared of other awakened heroes or the operation.
“You’re a funny guy.”
“Now shut up and go make friends. The operation will start in three days. Who knows, some of your new friends may try to save you when you’re going to die.”
“Isn’t that your job as a guild master?”
“I’m a busy man, unlike someone.”
Kim Yongwoo swung a thick notepad and hit Yoo Eunhye’s chin lightly. The guild master was going to participate in this mission as an operation director, and he needed to go through a lot of materials before the operation started. There were so many materials to cover that the guild master would need not three days but three weeks to go through everything.
Yoo Eunhye pouted.
“Edward, this mister is boring. Do you want to play with me?”
Edward Windsor appeared from behind. He still looked like a boy, but his eyes were deep.
“That’s cool with me. What do you want to do?”‘
“Well… do you want to become a champion?”
Kim Yongwoo yelled when he heard Yoo Eunhye.
“What the hell are you trying to do?”
“Do you know what’s more important than comradery? It’s the order, guild master. If I don’t get the order straight with the dogs, they bite me when things get urgent.”
“Ugh…”
Kim Yongwoo shook his head. Yoo Eunhye was right after all, but there was not much time left until the operation. Should she and Edward cause troubles, Kim Yongwoo would have to cover up for them.
In fact, Yoo Eunhye had already caused another trouble recently. She had offended the children of the savior. Back then, Kim Yongwoo had to step up and punish Yoo Eunhye to cover up. He did not want to do the same thing twice.
“Even if I stay quiet, I’m sure other candidates for the sage king will make their move. The Kirin told us that this operation is a replacement for the final competition for the sage king and that whoever shines the most in this operation will become the sage king. It’s a great opportunity to challenge others.”
In the competition for the sage king, the seven candidates would fight each other, and the winner would become the king. Unfortunately, the competition interfered with this operation and was canceled. Instead, the Kirin came up with the idea to replace the competition with this operation.
The seven candidates for the sage king agreed on the idea.
Yoo Eunhye wanted to become the sage king desperately, and Kim Yongwoo knew that if she made her mind to challenge other awakened heroes, he would not be able to stop her.
The guild master gave up on stopping her and spoke to her.
“If you insist, do it quietly and quickly. You know what I mean, you little brat?”
“I will become the best and return. By the time I come back, you might have to call me your master.”
“Well then, go head. Do whatever you want.”
Yoo Eunhye smiled while covering her mouth. The awakened hero soon left the guild master.

When the two were talking to each other, I was near the dungeon in China.
Looking across at the dungeon from a mountain, which was full of vegetation, I spoke.
“Tashumal, where is Hashi?”
Tashumal, with mixed feelings, answered my question from behind me.
“It’s not the best time to bring up that issue. The angel is getting recognized by other angels, and she is accelerating on her improvement.”
Out of all the angels on Earth, Hashi was the highest angel. Angels strictly followed their ranks, and Hashi was treated like a noble among them. Hashi was still very young, and her age could have been a problem. However, it seemed that the angel sneaked into the sacred area and successfully tricked other angels about her age.
Hashi was growing quickly, and Tashumal did not want to interrupt her pace. However, I firmly shook my head.
“This is going to be the beginning of everything. And I cannot let the angels miss this show. Tashumal, bring Hashi to me right now.”
“…okay.”
Tashumal went to bring the angel.
The sacred area where angels gathered was very holy. When I tried to enter, I was opposed to the holiness of that area, and the atmosphere stung me. I supposed that other demons or monsters who were weaker than me could not even take a step inside.
Although Tashumal was a fallen angel, she could resist the holiness much better than I could. That was the reason that I sent her to get Hashi.
Soon, the angel left and disappeared from my sight.
“I am going to use all of the cards that I have. Other archdukes and their demons would bring their best monsters and weapons. It will be interesting to see who would be the strongest.”
Crossing my arms, I laughed coldly.
