The young man’s eyes were black.
His pupils were covered with his long and luscious eyelashes which exuded an extremely cold demeanor. He held a book between his fair and long fingers and placed it on the podium. As the light noise of putting the book down drifted through the classroom, the classroom became totally silent.
The class was not even that silent when the class teacher was there.
Jiang Heng’s personality was extremely cold. In addition to his elegant movements and lowering of his eyelashes, he looked so strict that it was unreasonable despite his beauty and would subconsciously give one a sense of oppression.
The girl sitting behind her had just mocked his beauty and even mocked it so fluidly and smoothly yet when she saw him, she tensed up and did not dare make a noise at all.
Yun Xia took a glance and sized up the young man.
That man stood at the podium and after he put down the book, he lifted up his eyes. His pupils were black and he apathetically looked at the class.
The class entered a state of unprecedented silence.
The young man gave a slightly respectful bow. “Hello, I’m Jiang Heng and am honored to teach as the substitute for your absent mathematics teacher.”
His posture was indifferent.
His etiquette was elegant yet cold. Under the white shirt, his collarbone supported his beautiful and firm shoulder line yet it was thoroughly covered and one could only see his fair neck above his white-collar shirt while his adam’s apple exuded a hint of sexiness.
She had to admit…
This beauty was indeed captivating. With just a look, one’s heart would waver and it was inevitable that young teenage girls would be crazily attracted to him.
However, Yun Xia was not interested in his beauty.
She sensed a familiar aura before smirking and lazily staring at him.
When Jiang Heng looked towards the class, his gaze scanned past her and did not pause at her as though he had never seen her before.
Yun Xia had not noticed who Jiang Heng was just now but now as she took in her memory, she remembered his identity.
The original owner and Jiang Heng could forcefully be considered as childhood sweethearts because both of their families lived near each other and had a good relationship with each other. Moreover, both of their ages were similar.
However, they had little interactions throughout their childhood. Jiang Heng was a model cold top student and was used to being alone. No matter how much their parents joked around, he remained cold towards the original owner and had no warmth as her childhood sweetheart.
Hence, after so many years, even if the original owner had the hope of being childhood sweethearts with him, she was long defeated by his cold attitude.
She could not say that he was bad as Jiang Heng treated everyone with coldness and just had not given her any special treatment.
Moreover, he did make others feel distanced from him. In the original owner’s memory, the young man’s attire was always clean yet strict. He even buttoned up his collar and never exposed his collarbone at all.
Every day, he would go to his class and study. Even if he had acquired all the knowledge in the books, he continued to make notes, complete his homework and help teachers. He was an extremely obedient student.
Yun Xia stared at the slender figure on the podium with a curious gaze.
When Jiang Heng flipped the book open, his fingers looked beautiful and fair. His clear bone lines extended to his wrists and the button on his shirt sleeves was clearly seen. He took the chalk up and even the words he wrote on the board were very beautiful.
He really was a hundred-percent good student and had zero faults.
The class was very quiet and only had the sound of students dutifully copying notes. The girls at the back rows had an obedient face as their gazes followed Jiang Heng.
He left a few questions for the students to try out before class ended and the students obediently solved them. Then, the young man put down the chalk and walked down the podium.
When he passed by Yun Xia, the girl reached out and gently grabbed the young man’s white sleeves before staring at him with her round eyes.
