Yun Xia was very aware of the reason the headteacher called her. After all, she was already a third-year senior high school student and so, handing up a blank sheet of paper was a very serious problem…
She strutted to the door of the office and paused to think. She decided that she should adjust her attitude and politely knock on the door to enter.
The office was not a single room and had many teachers from different classes in it as well.
Yun Xia walked to her headteacher and her round eyes glanced past the blank examination paper on his desk.
When the headteacher saw her, he felt angry yet funny at the same time. He slammed the paper onto the table. “You don’t even know how to answer one question? The students in your class could at least finish half of the paper. I would not even talk about the others but the first two multiple-choice questions were a given and can’t you at least try to write something?”
Yun Xia did not even say anything and took a glance at him.
The girl was small yet soft and her dimples made her look especially cute. The headteacher heaved a long sigh and couldn’t seem to throw a fit at her.
He could only scold her, “You are already in your third year. Your university entrance examination is at stake here and can affect your whole life. If you don’t buck up your foundations and continue having a poor attitude, you will ruin your chances.”
Yun Xia looked up. “I didn’t purposely hand up a blank sheet of paper.”
“Huh?” The headteacher froze before coming back to his senses. She meant that there was more to this situation? If she was sick, he could still try to understand.
His expression softened. “In that case, why didn’t you write anything?”
The girl stared at him with her round eyes and wore a serious expression. “The questions are too easy and I am too lazy to write.”
The headteacher: “…”
He slammed his hand on the table and berated, “Yun Xia!”
The great demon lord took a glance at him as she couldn’t understand him.
Why must he shout so loudly?
She was not talking nonsense.
Right at this moment, someone knocked on the door.
A slender hand pushed open the door and a fair and beautiful teenager walked in. He raised his eyes and his cold gaze met Yun Xia’s eyes.
The teenager looked a little cold and indifferent as he glanced past her.
He walked over in big strides and placed a pile of documents on the headteacher’s desk. He said in a faint tone of voice, “This is my relief lesson document. Please take a look.”
Although the third-year teacher was busy and had made an exception to let a student relieve his lessons, Jiang Heng definitely fit the teaching standard. However, he still politely passed the documents over and let the headteacher understand the contents of his teaching.
His teaching attitude was very serious and meticulous. Furthermore, he was a steady student and so, the headteacher couldn’t be more satisfied.
As such, when he saw Jiang Heng, the headteacher’s expression immediately changed into a friendly one. “You don’t have to show me the documents. Don’t I already know your teaching standard? You just need to prepare your lessons well.”
The teenager slightly nodded his head.
He initially also did it out of respect. He raised his fair and slender fingers to pick up the documents and prepared to leave.
Comparing her to a good student, the headteacher said as if he expected better from her, “Yun Xia, look at Jiang Heng. If you could be half as obedient as him, that would be great.”
Yun Xia took a glance at the teenager.
His eyes were lowered and his delicate arm could be seen from his snowy white sleeve. Every single finger of his was so beautiful and fair. His attire was also very neat and did not have a single fold on it. His collar pin was also pinned nicely and he was a model stone-cold student.
After listening to the headteacher’s words, he also raised his eyes and calmly looked at her. He then lowered his eyes with indifference, took the document and left.
Yun Xia pursed her lips. “How do you know that I am not as good as him? In the past, I was just letting him win. He can ask me a question and if I cannot solve it, I am willing to admit my defeat.”
She thought that her words were reasonable and reached out to grab Jiang Heng.
She only managed to grab his sleeve and the slender teenager stopped walking. His shirt shifted to the side and exposed a little of his fair collarbone.
