Chapter 47: What Is Traversing Through Time And Space?
Muyan’s attitude toward her son was always egalitarian and respectful. She would never treat him as a child or tell him to go and play by himself.
Although Xiaobao was only four years old, he was smart and talented and already knew most of the Chinese characters with Muyan’s guidance.
So, as Xiaobao heard Muyan’s request, he immediately nodded. “Okay!”
His little face was still cold, but his ice-blue eyes were bright and lovely.
Then Muyan and Xiaobao began to sort through books while looking for ways to repair the Tianmo Zither.
Most of the books there contained useless miscellaneous notes and ancient records.
There were also some books about tools and medicine refining, but the elixirs mentioned in them weren’t anything Muyan had even heard of.
She didn’t read them carefully. As she turned over the pages and found no information about a “map” or “repairing the Tianmo Zither”, she would put books straight back on the shelves.
While Xiaobao, on the other side, was leafing through the books carefully.
After finishing turning through one, he was about to try to reach for another when he incidentally noticed the corner of a book revealing itself under the shelf.
Xiaobao thought about it then bent down to pull the book out while his little butt stuck out.
He was actually in a corner, so even if others had deliberately looked for the book, they wouldn’t necessarily notice it.
On the other side, Muyan knew nothing about this until she heard her son uttering a surprised, low cry.
“Baby, what’s wrong?”
She thought Xiaobao encountered danger and hurriedly looked over.
Xiaobao raised his head and showed his handsome face full of confusion. “Mommy, I can’t understand anything in this book. What is a TV? Plane? And what’s traversing through time and space?”
Muyan was stunned and she hurriedly took the book from Xiaobao.
Muyan had lived two lives, but even so, she couldn’t help but feel shocked after reading this book.
No wonder. No wonder the God-Musician sect was so powerful!
Baili Liuyin, the originator of God-Musicians, had also lived twice just like her.
The difference was that she was born again, but Baili Liuyin was a soul from another world and had been revived with a new guise in this world.
This book wasn’t about any profound techniques but it included Baili Liuyin’s notes.
The notes mentioned strange things in the “21st century,” the period in which Baili Liuyin originally, lived, along with her feelings of homesickness.
What pleased Muyan most was the map at the end of the notes.
The map showed the location of a red dot, which was where Baili Yinluo said she could find a way to repair the Tianmo Zither.
Muyan closed the notes and put them on the bookshelf before she picked up her son and kissed him deeply on the cheek. “Thank you, Xiaobao; you found what I needed. You’re mommy’s little lucky star!”
A faint smile immediately appeared on Xiaobao’s face.
Then, as if remembering something, he frowned slightly again.
He put his arms around Muyan’s neck while kissing her on the cheek. “I’m helpful, Mommy. Mommy, you’re mine!”
What he said reminded Muyan of that b*stard who kissed her, and Muyan gritted her teeth spontaneously.
But as she watched her baby son’s cute and jealous face, Muyan couldn’t help but smile again.
“En, okay, Mommy is Xiaobao’s and Xiaobao is Mommy’s. All right?”
…
Beyond the Nine Sky, on the Immortality Cultivation Continent (Xiuxian Continent).
“Supreme Master, you’re back!”
As soon as a tall man entered the hall, the people inside fell on their knees together.
