Just as Lu Jiu Que began to bend over to pick up “The Classics of Remedies,” a gust of strong wind suddenly took the small room by force. And along with it was a surging thunderbolt.
Lu Jiu Que was incredibly surprised and suddenly looked up to see the battered book pouncing on her like a tiger. Whack! With a single sound, it rushed into her body.
The book moved at such a rapid speed that Lu Jiu Que was simply unable to react at all. The next instant, she felt an excruciating pain, as though her soul was being torn apart!
“Boom, boom—”
“Argh!”
There was an outburst of thunder in her ears and accompanying it was the loud, sonorous howling of dragons. It was like in her mind, there were two great beasts rolling around, agitating and destroying each other!
It was too painful, so painful that even Lu Jiu Que had to clench her teeth as the blood oozed out just to stop herself from letting out as much as the softest moan.
At this time, if Lu Jiu Que had the ability of inward power, she would have discovered an extremely exciting scene unfolding inside her sea of consciousness!
A book and a silver dragon were entangled in a struggle as they wrestled with each other. It was as though they were fighting for the position of the territory’s overlord.
As for their master Lu Jiu Que’s will, it was completely ignored by them.
The book and the dragon ruthlessly crashed into each other, paying no heed to whether Lu Jiu Que would be mentally damaged because she was unable to bear the force of the impact.
Lu Jiu Que was in such great pain that she rolled all over the ground. The blood from the wound stained her freshly cleaned face a scarlet red. The veins on her forehead were popping out, and she was trembling all over. She was like a wounded cub, so pitiful and fragile.
When the fight between the book and dragon was growing increasingly fierce, blood began spilling out from all over Lu Jiu Que’s face, including her eyes, nose, ears, and mouth…
Seeing how Lu Jiu Que was quickly losing the ability to accommodate the tyrannical energy that was capable of destroying all of heaven and Earth, just as she was about to explode and die, a pure white figure appeared in front of her.
With silver hair and silver eyes, pure and noble, who else could it have been other than the Great Demon King?
Looking down at this bloody little human, the Great Demon King’s feathery silver lashes trembled slightly, and he seemed a little surprised.
She was in such great pain, yet she wasn’t going to make even the slightest sound at all?
Was she afraid that the ants outside would hear her?
Haha, what a stubborn little thing she was.
The corners of his pretty lips curved up, and the Great Demon King lazily said, “‘The Scripture of Wisdom,’ as emperor, gives me the power to make you merge as one, but I’m also able to crush you into pieces and make you die the cruelest death. You had better be clear on who your master is now. If this little servant of mine, the emperor’s servant, should die, you’re also not going to make it out alive.”
“Clang, clang, clang—”
Bouts of clanging sounds rang aloud. The book that had been wreaking havoc seemed to be frightened and stopped.
This brief pause was enough for it to be viciously crushed under its claws of the silver dragon.
Victory or defeat, it happened in the flash of a single moment!
“Argh—”
The silver dragon confined the book in its deadly grip and let out the long howl of a victor. Its beautiful and robust body swung around, then it transformed back into a pearl, and once again, firmly dominated and settled itself in Lu Jiu Que’s diaphragm with the demeanor of a master.
The book that had lost the battle paused for a moment in mid-air. In the end, it could only retreat and settle with being second best to remain in Lu Jiu Que’s sea of consciousness.
The fight for territory was thus brought to a close, while the “territory” that the competition was all about was left with nothing more than the last breaths of her life.
Naturally, this silver dragon had previously been planted in Lu Jiu Que’s sea of consciousness by the Great Demon King.
On the other hand, this book was “The Classics of Remedies” that Lu Jiu Que had brought along with her when she traversed to this world.
In fact, it was not called “The Classics of Remedies.” Its real name was “The Scripture of Wisdom.”
At the very beginning, “The Scripture of Wisdom” was forced into a state of hibernation because it was split in half.
The half of “The Scripture of Wisdom” that the Great Demon King had sent over had successfully merged with Lu Jiu Que’s blood, therefore merging with the other half of “The Scripture of Wisdom” that was in Lu Jiu Que’s soul.
As such, “The Scripture of Wisdom” was complete after the unison of the two halves, and thus, it was able to see the light of the day!
