Chapter 340: Return (2)
It was a short waiting period, but it was enough to make everyone become worried. At that moment, the dogs returned from the Gate.
“Galfus! Deloo!”
Then, two Guardians appeared through the Gate. Joonbum mumbled their names as soon as he recognized the two giant wolves.
“Oh? It’s them!”
Jinpok also seemed surprised. Two Guardians quickly ran over toward Joonbum.
“Make way!”
Joonbum shouted into the microphone and soldiers moved out of the way, letting Galfus run to Joonbum. With the appearance of the queen of Guardians, hundreds of Guardians that were on Earth howled excitedly. And that was the signal.
“The Gate is secured! Move in!”
Soldiers began to move through the right side through the Gate. And on the left, reinforcements from the Khalodian Empire began to appear as well.
“Wow. Is this Earth?”
“We’re on Earth!”
All new recruits from the Khalodian Empire seemed to be surprised to set their foot on the Earth. There were so many people welcoming the new reinforcements.
Thousands of soldiers kept moving in and out through the Gate. It was an endless march of soldiers. Over 100 thousand soldiers came through, followed by carriages full of cargo. And from Earth, many vehicles used for excavations were transported through the Gate.
The movement lasted for a full day and when lunchtime came around, many sat down in their spots and ate whatever they had brought to keep watching.
“Your Majesty, it’s time for your departure,” Duvall whispered to Joonbum from behind.
“Yeah.”
Joonbum got up and Jinpok and all the others also moved along.
[Is it finally time?]
Graham’s voice rang inside Joonbum’s head. Joonbum nodded. It was time to introduce the dragons to the Khalodian Empire beyond the Gate.
‘Shall we go then?’
Joonbum got up on the wing of the giant dragon and got up. Then the golden dragon Graham, and hundreds of other dragons all soared up into the sky.
“Whoaaa! The Emperor is riding on the dragon!”
“Woaaaaaaaah!”
The giant dragon flew over and began to fly in toward the Gate.
“Kong! It’s our turn!”
Giant Kongs then began to move their way in toward the Gate.
“Haha. Misun, this is quite fun.”
“Isn’t it? Uncle Jinpok?”
“Yeah, it sure is.”
Jinpok smiled satisfyingly. He wasn’t on a dragon, but it was still amazing to move through the Gate on top of a King Kong.
‘I wonder what has become of my family?’
Jinpok remembered his wife and son’s faces.
‘I must have grandchildren… I guess it’s time to live quiet peaceful lives when I return.’
“Let’s go!” Misun shouted, as the Kong moved in through the gate.
