Chapter 53: Innocent Online Game Master (Part 29)
Li Haorui was angry.
The other party sought him out and without a word, he had used a body binding and a tracking curse on him. Then he brought him to the stage. With the body binding curse on him, he couldn’t reject his challenge. Hence, the system declared his agreement by default after ten seconds.
The challenger waited for a minute for the body binding curse to vanish before he attacked. Despite how hard Li Haorui tried to defend himself, he was killed off in minutes.
Did he challenge him because of Meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow?
He was crazy! He had done nothing! After he read the comments on the forum, his expression darkened dangerously.
Were these people blind? How can a game be more important than real life? So what if S was a brilliant fighter in the game? He suppressed his anger as he typed a message to S. Yet, he didn’t receive any reply.
S’s stand had been clear. S detested Li Haorui and hence he had beaten Li Haorui up. As for the consequences, S didn’t give a damn about it.
S’s arrogance ignited boiling anger inside Li Haorui once more. He refused to respond and decided to post a public message instead.
A Boat As Light As a Leaf sent a public message. ‘So what if you’re great in the game? Which city are you in? Do you dare to show up in real life?’
Everyone was abuzz with excitement as they read his fury laced message.
Some felt that S was just being cool by not responding. Some felt that it was more important for him to be handsome in real life. The rest were just anxious to see the game world in chaos and expressed their desire to see the two masters meet in real life. Some clamored for S to post his photo.
Yet, S didn’t respond. Li Haorui’s fury dissipated a little.
He had always been confident in himself. At the very least, he was certain that no one would be able to surpass him in this game in all aspects.
Indeed, S had shut up at the mention of meeting him in real life.
He paused for a moment before typing again.
A Boat As Light As a Leaf sent a message. ‘Why? Are you afraid?’
He secretly heaved a sigh of relief.
Moments after he had sent this message, the system announced a dozen identical messages.
The system announced, ‘Player ‘S’ has sent Player ‘Meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow’ 9999 roses to convey his love!’
The system announced, ‘Player ‘S’ has sent Player ‘Meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow’ 9999 roses to convey his love!’
…
The game went silent once more. Then, a commotion erupted.
9999 roses were intangible and would have seemed insignificant to anyone not playing the game.
However… it represented money.
Roses weren’t expensive and were priced at 1 yuan per stalk. Yet, this player had given 9999 roses several times. And the amount added up to… a few hundred thousand yuan.
Who would spend a few hundred thousand yuan in a game to send a girl flowers?
Either he was a lunatic or extremely wealthy. The forum had exploded wildly again. S had always been a lone ranger. He was mysterious and rarely seen, but he could make the hearts of girls race any time.
The young man who had just sent the flowers exited the forum, escaping from the comments that had been flooding in. He quietly blinked as his good-looking eyes stared at the only message on the screen.
A person asked,
“Master… Are you professing your love?’
He stared at the question for a period of time, which seemed to last a century. The young man’s long, slender fingers tapped the desk as he stared blankly.
He then placed his elbows on the desk as he bent his head. He covered his exquisite face with his hands, hiding his expression.
His earlobes turned red.
